I first encountered Pilates as part of my acting training in graduate school. I completed my Mat and Apparatus certifications with Kelly Kane at The Kane School of Core Integration in New York City, a training program that focuses on anatomy, biomechanics, and the use of touch to help clients make changes in their bodies.

My teaching is influenced by my work in Alexander Technique, Middendorf Breathwork, and improvisational movement. I place a large emphasis on breath, presence, and quality of movement. Working with me, you will understand how and why you are moving, from the inside out.

I work with people at all different levels of fitness and ability. I have helped clients work through issues such as back pain, pelvic pain, sciatica, shoulder tension, and osteoporosis. I love working with clients who are new to movement or exercise. Whatever your goals, we will use Pilates as a way to help you feel better in your body.

I am also an actor, Assistant Professor at UT Austin, a mother, and a big fan of books.
